The City National Grove of Anaheim is a huge entertainment venue that has housed performances from people such as Prince, Stevie Nicks, Lewis Black, Ray Charles, and Merle Haggard. Some events that are coming up this summer is a Rock n’ Blues Festival, Air Supply, and a performance from comedian Anjelah Johnson. Even though Southern California is known for good weather and the beach, you can still go ice-skating, which is a fun way to switch things up. The Rinks in downtown Anaheim offers both NHL-size rinks and Olympic-size rinks. As you lace up some skates, you can just free ride with friends or even take lessons. Learn to play hockey or even learn to curl! On the weekends, attend Weekend Rock-N-Skate where music videos are projected while there is open skating out on the rink.

If you are looking for something a little more culturally stimulating, check out Muzeo – Anaheim’s Museum and Cultural Center. Muzeo is not just your typical museum, but so much more. It opened in 2007 and has been providing visitors with unique exhibits. Some recent exhibits in the past have looked into the origin of blues in the Mississippi Delta, as well as an in-depth look at unusual and rare fogs. After you see the exhibits, you can even stay afterward for lectures, special events, and classes. Admission for adults is $10 and for children it is $6.

The Angel Stadium has been newly renovated and now features terraced bullpens in the outfield, concourses that have been widened, family oriented seating sections, a youth-oriented interactive game area (The Pepsi Perfect Game Pavilion) and more! The Angels will have home games throughout the summer and tickets range in price according to the seating area.
