When summer rolls around and the weather is hot, what’s better than cracking open an ice cold beer and enjoy the company of friends? If you agree, then grab some of your friends or a loved one and head out to the OC Beer Festival on Saturday, June 7th where you are sure to have a great time. People 21 years and older looking for something fun to do while staying Anaheim will be pouring in to attend this popular event!
Last year, this event completely sold out and this year, the 6th annual OC Beer Festival is sure to be a hit again. At the fest, you will get a small mug that allows you to sample dozens of different types of international and domestic beers. While you are sipping on beer and learning things about all the different types of brews they have, enjoy the live entertainment, as there will be a number of bands playing throughout the day. Feel free to join the crowd and dance in the summer sun. There will also be a number of food trucks available that day offering delicious burgers, hotdogs, and more! This is an event you surely don’t want to miss!
The OC Beer Festival is from 3:00-6:00pm and will be held at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. General admission is $40 and includes a small glass mug for you to keep! VIP tickets are available for $50 and they allow you to enter the festival at 2:00pm so you can start to enjoy the fest before the rest of the crowd. Proceeds go to Noah’s B-ark, Inc. which is an organization whose mission is to rescue dogs from shelters and find permanent homes for these rescued animals. All proceeds from the event will go towards food, shelter, as well as veterinary bills for the rescued pets.
The Phoenix Club was founded in Anaheim in 1960 in order to better preserve “German culture, customs, and language.” As of today, the Phoenix Club has over 1,1000 members/families. Membership is open to anyone who is simply interested in knowing more about German, Swiss, and Austrian language and culture. Other festivals they put on are Oktoberfest, Karneval, and Kinderfest amongst others.
