Every year at Disneyland, come October there is a very special event: Mickey’s Halloween Party. Guests are welcomed to join Mickey and the gang for frights and surprises across the park. Part of the Halloween Time season at the Disneyland Park, the Halloween Party is outside of normal opening hours and held on select nights by pre-booked ticket only. What happens in Disneyland after dark at Halloween? Children love to find out!

With dressing up positively encouraged – both for children and adults alike – visitors staying in family friendly hotels close to Disneyland are invited to Mickey’s Halloween Party to go trick or treating in the most unique ‘neighborhood’ in town: Disneyland. Within the stunning setting of the Disneyland theme park, special seasonal attractions are laid out to entertain and amaze. New for this year 2013 during Halloween is the Monsters U Dance Party, taking place in Tomorrowland Terrace. Mike and Sulley star in their very own exciting ‘Monster Scare Off’ event. A unique firework event called Halloween Screams is presented to Mickey’s Party Guests, set to be spectacular, as well as Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade: a special seasonal Halloween costume parade featuring all the favorite characters dressed to impress.

Throughout the park, crashing the party are the Disney Villains, prowling the grounds and offering special photo opportunities for party guests – don’t worry though, the heroes and most popular characters from Disney and Pixar Pals will also be attending. Photographs are encouraged, creating memories of this unique occasion. Visitors also have access to the majority of Disney attractions, including all of the Halloween themed activities such as Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and the Haunted Mansion Holiday edition. Trick or treating stations throughout the grounds have a wide variety of sweet treats and healthy snacks for children to find, and dance parties pop up everywhere with eerie music and fun for the whole family. Creepy craft stands and food vendors are also scattered in the park, providing everything to make Mickey’s Halloween Party a fantastic night.
