Plus, there are many great close attractions in the area hosting Halloween events that the entire family will enjoy!

Halloween Time is a great time to visit Disneyland. There is a large Mickey Mouse pumpkin photo opportunity at beginning of the street. After Main Street, be sure to visit Main Street Frontierland and walk over to the Haunted Mansion, it’s just a short walk away. It’s is a great way to start your spooky Disneyland experience! New to the park during Halloween is the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” debuting during Mickey’s Halloween Party. It features a spectacle of spooky spirits from the deepest bayous of New Orleans to Halloweentown and beyond. You can also experience Disney’s spooky theme with attraction favorites like Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy – sure to thrill and excite you and your family!

Just a few minutes away from the Anaheim Resort, you can visit Knott’s Scary Farm (also known as Knott’s Halloween Haunt) is a seasonal Halloween event at Knott’s Berry Farm and fact one of largest and most popular Halloween events in Southern California featuring roaming monsters, terrifying mazes, and ‘scare zones’.  Now celebrating its 44th year, Knott’s Scary Farm has constructed 8 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, a zombie shootout attraction, and 2 live shows and is recommended only for brave guests 13 and up. Costumed monsters roam the park in terrifying scare zones, amidst haze produced by giant fog machines. Some sneak up on you quietly while others slide out at you or have noisemaking devices to startle you out of your skin. These monsters will find ways to scare the bravest of souls. If you have little ones, you probably want to stay away from the evening scare event, but you can still enjoy gentle Halloween fun weekends in October at Knott’s during the day at Camp Spooky.

Another great place to visit is Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND® where kids are able to pick up treat bags and “Brick or Treat” at various Halloween-decorated stations located throughout the Park. There are photo areas complete with pumpkins and hay bales for photo taking. There are also various costume contests and dance parties open to people of all ages! Be sure to ride the Ghost Cruise, which features tiny LEGO ghosts placed throughout the ride. At night, when the Party Night kicks in, there are various Brick-or-Trick only events that take place. There are also several dance party locations throughout the Park, including one on the rooftop patio of the Sea Life Aquarium where enthusiastic costumed employees encourage people to dance.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is a heart-thumping annual event that runs on select nights in the fall takes thousands of guests through movie-set quality haunted houses, or mazes, scare zones and even a Terror Tram. Most Universal Halloween Horror Nights have scary long lines, so save your terror for the mazes and buy a Halloween Horror Nights Front of the Line Pass. The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. each night. We recommend that you arrive by 6:00 p.m. for early entry; select mazes open at 6:30 p.m.
