Have a Magical Blast on the Best Rides at Disneyland!

It is no surprise that Disneyland is known as the most magical place on Earth. From the musical parades to the opportunities to meet your favorite Disney characters, there is magic waiting around every corner. Of course, one of the best things about Disneyland is all of the fun attractions! Here is a list of some of the best rides at Disneyland that you shouldn’t miss out on the next time you visit the park!

The Jungle Cruise is not your typical fast paced attraction. Located in Adventureland, the Jungle Cruise puts you on a boat as you explore lush jungle environments as you travel down river. Led by a hilarious skipper, prepare yourself for cheesy jokes and silly commentary. The Jungle Cruise is a great ride to go on when you’d like to take a little break while enjoying some scenery.

If you are looking for something more upbeat, than Indiana Jones Adventure is just for you. Join Indiana Jones as you explore a forbidden temple. You’ll be riding along in a four-wheel drive vehicle and be sure to buckle up because you’re in for a bumpy ride! This ride is located in Adventureland and by the end up of it, you’ll be an adventurer just like Indiana Jones!

Peter Pan’s Flight is the perfect ride for a quick nostalgic trip down memory lane. From an English bedroom, you’re transported to the wonderful world of Never Land – all with the help of a little magic of course. Listen along to the classic song, “You Can Fly” and join Peter Pan on a trip that will take you over rooftops, past Big Ben, and into the enchanted island of Never Land. Though the ride is short, and the line tends to be long, it’s definitely worth it. You’ll find Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland.

Also located in Fantasyland is the incredibly famous ride, It’s a Small World. Don’t let the infectious song stop you from getting in line for this ride because it really is delightful. You’ll climb aboard a slow-moving boat and drift along the water as you travel through various places in the world. What makes this ride so unique is the incredible set pieces, playful color palette, and fun music. Be sure to keep an eye out for Surfing Stitch from Lilo & Stitch!

If you’re going to go on just one ride while at Disneyland, let it be Space Mountain. Located in Tomorrowland, guests have been known to wait for hours to get on this ride – and all for good reason. This nearly pitch-black ride will have you riding along dips and drops and tight turns that will keep your adrenaline pumping. Set to catchy space music, this ride will have you wanting to get on again and again.

While more cookie then sandwich, this treat is essentially peanut butter lathered over a graham cracker-like IMG_3359RSbase and covered in chocolate. What’s not to love? Grab one of these delicious treats at Pooh’s Corner in Critter Country. If you love chocolate, the Quake Shake is a must. Served at the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop at California Adventure®, there are six different variations of the shake but try the peanut butter shake – a full chocolate bar blended with peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. The Best Character Dining Restaurants at Disneyland®!

One of the things that makes Disneyland® so unique is that it allows for special opportunities for guests to meet with some of their favorite characters. While you can always travel around the park and hope to find various characters, you can take advantage of the fact that Disneyland® offers Character Dining Restaurants. At these restaurants, the characters come right to you as you are having your meal! This means you can avoid lines and get a more personal interaction with some of your favorite characters. Here are a few of the restaurants that you can visit for this interactive experience.

The Storytellers Café is located at the Disneyland® Resort and here, you can have breakfast with classic Disney® characters. At the Chip n Dale Critter Breakfast experience, you can enjoy buffet items, Mickey waffles, and more while seeing a number of characters (including characters that are often harder to find) such as Winnie the Pooh and other woodland critters.

Goofy’s Kitchen is located at the Disneyland Hotel and you can see characters during breakfast and dinner. Here, there is both table service as well as a buffet, with a lively ambiance. Get ready to dance when Goofy is around and enjoy the fun as he encourages lots of interaction. What makes Goofy’s Kitchen unique is that this is the only possibility to have a character dinner at the park.

Located inside the park is the Plaza Inn Restaurant. At this location, breakfast is served while you mingle with Minnie and her friends. There is indoor and outdoor seating but indoor seating tends to offer a little more interaction with the characters. Sitting outdoors however allows you to enjoy a nice view of the entrance to Tomorrowland.

The Surfs Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends is located at the Paradise Pier Hotel. At this beach-themed restaurant, you will get an extremely interactive experience with the characters and a visit from Mickey is a guarantee. The characters are known to cause fun mischief such as stealing sips of orange juice and acting silly in general.
