Every year in Brea, California, for the past 11 years, there has been an amazing Brea Jazz Festival – and this year is no different. Between September 7th and September 29th, 2013, every Saturday and Sunday will be host to a range of activities and events for all the family. A four week musical celebration of everything jazz, the events will not only include a range of live musical acts and performers from across the area but also fine arts and crafts shows, a beer and wine garden and activities specially tailored to children. If you will be at one of the places to stay near Brea CA the month of September, take a day out of your trip to visit the Brea Jazz Festival.
On the main stage, outdoors in Brea Downtown and located on Birch Street, a wide range of free performances will be taking place each weekend. Seats for these are on a first come first served basis – and it’s likely to get busy quickly! However, tickets are available for purchase which gives the holder a table near the stage area and access to the exclusive private ticket holders’ bar, in addition to a unique Brea Jazz gift bag full of gift certificates, commemorative wine glass and beer vouchers for use across the event. There will also be special gifts from a number of the festival merchants!
The Festival Beer and Wine Garden is popular every year, being provided by a Brea service club and whose profits will benefit the charity and their work. In addition, the Fine Arts and Crafts Shows will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy the work of numerous artists from across the whole of the Western USA. Works in styles including contemporary and modern to traditional and classic southwestern pieces will be on display, with guests able to take home a souvenir whatever their budget. In addition, throughout the weekends, various Brea Downtown restaurants and bars will be open for fantastic dining. A full list of participating venues is available on the Brea Downtown website, with parking available nearby. ‘Free Event Parking’ signs will be displayed throughout the Birch Street area to help bring guests into the Festival activities as smoothly as possible.
