On New Year’s Eve, Disneyland Park guests will get to experience two fireworks shows! Fireworks show times are 9:00 p.m. (celebrating the East Coast’s New Year’s) and 11:55 p.m. (celebrating the West Coast’s New Year’s). You will enjoy festive and explosive fireworks with classic music and a countdown to midnight for both east coast and west coast times. For the best spots, choose to watch fireworks near the castle or Main Street. Expect to see people getting into position hours before the show, possibly as early as noon.
If you do plan to attend New Years at Disneyland, be sure to pre-purchase your admission tickets and arrive as early as you can. New Years is a busy day and if the park gets too crowded, park admissions staff could stop selling tickets as early as mid-morning. Plus, if you arrive early, you can avoid the long lines that occur mid-morning.
If you’re looking some fun New Years activities outside of Disneyland, consider some New Year’s fun near the beach! Take a Holiday Cruise at Davey’s Locker in Newport Beach/Newport Bay. There are three cruises every night at 400 Main Street, Newport Beach, ,CA 92661.
Another fun beach event is New Year’s Eve at Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa. The Vue Restaurant will be offering a holiday menu with small plates, salads, entrees, sandwiches and holiday specials such as Rack of Australian Lamb and Mascarpone Creamed Polenta. Entertainment will be provided by a DJ Halo. This fun event will be located at 25135 Park Lantern

The next day, on January 1, you can enjoy the Annual Surf City Splash & Pancake Breakfast starting at 9:00 am and going on until 11:00 am, for breakfast. The fun will be located at 405 Pacific Coast Hwy (Zack’s at Pier Plaza) in Huntington Beach.
